What is Screen Printing?
Screen printing, also known as silkscreen printing, is a traditional method that uses stencils (or “screens”) to apply layers of ink onto fabric. This tried-and-true process produces vibrant, durable prints, making it the go-to choice for large-scale orders and bold designs. The screen-printing minimum order is 12 items per design; orders of 25 or more are more cost-effective. Each screen-printing design requires its own screen setup (burning screens). Garment sizes and colors may vary, but the print design and ink color(s) must remain the same across the 12-item minimum. The 12-item minimum per design applies only to screen printing; DTG and DTF do not require burned screens and are not subject to this minimum. Screen printing has a minimum turnaround of 3 business days and a typical turnaround of 3–5 business days. Turnaround begins once both payment and final artwork approval are received. For same-day and next-day orders, choose DTF. Same-day service is available in Tallahassee only; Tampa service starts at next day.
